Once we’ve taken x-rays and examined them to make sure you’re a good candidate, we’ll prepare your teeth for veneers. This is done by filing off just a millimeter of enamel from your existing teeth with the use of local anesthetic. In some cases, this step isn’t even necessary, depending on the condition of your teeth.
Afterward, we’ll get impressions of your teeth to ensure a good veneer fit. These impressions will be sent to a dental lab that will create your veneers, making sure they’re the right size, shape, and color. Once we receive your veneers back from the lab, you’re ready to have them applied.
